MILWAUKEE, WIS. — The tip-off time for The University of Texas' NCAA Second-Round contest on Thursday, March 20 has been set for approximately 8:40 p.m. Central (30 minutes following completion of Michigan-Wofford game that tips at 6:10 pm CT), CBS Sports and Turner Sports announced tonight.
The Longhorns (23-10, 11-7 Big 12), the No. 7 seed in the Midwest Region, will play No. 10 seed Arizona State (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12). UT's game on Thursday will be played at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee and be televised nationally by CBS.
Should Texas advance to the Third Round, tip time for that contest on Saturday, March 22 has not been determined. Texas would face the winner of Thursday's Michigan-Wofford game.
This marks the 15th NCAA Tournament appearance in the 16 years under coach Rick Barnes and 31st overall appearance by the Longhorns in the NCAA Tournament.
